1. Use Plain Paper (It really matters!)
Plain white paper is the best choice when writing your message.
While we do remove background marks and lines during the image editing process, lined or textured paper can sometimes leave faint traces where lines meet the handwriting. This can make the final print look messier than intended.
❌ Avoid:
- Lined or graph paper
- Coloured paper
- Creased or scrunched paper (even if flattened!)
✅ Best option:
- Flat, clean, plain white paper
2. Choose the right pen for the best results.
Yes — even the pen you use makes a difference!
For the clearest and boldest result, we recommend using:
- A black Sharpie or similar marker
These pens create strong, defined lines that are easy to edit and print clearly onto fabric.
You can use a standard pen, but:
- The writing will be thinner
- Some strokes may not show up as well in the final print
3. Take a photo
Once your message is written, it’s time to photograph it.
For best results:
- Lay the paper flat on a surface
- Use a well-lit area (natural light works best)
- Avoid shadows and glare
- Make sure the photo is in focus
